Stephen's First Solo Flight

Stephen Watson, 23, under the instruction of Chip Taylor, completed his first solo flight on May 5, 2007. Stephen served in the Air Force from 2001 - 2005 and is working for Midwest ATC as an Air Traffic Controller in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
He received an AAS in Airway Science from the Community College of the Air Force in 2005 and is only six months away from having his B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Stephen joined Skymavs Flight Center in April 2007 to obtain his Private Pilot license. He takes a few weeks off work at a time to come back to the states for his flight training. His goal is to fly for the Air Force active duty or work for the FAA and fly for the Air Force Guard or Reserves. Stephen was recently referred by the FAA for work at a tower in Colorado.
Skymavs is pleased to have Stephen as a student and wish him the best in his career. Congratulations, on your first solo flight!
