Skymavs Aviation Day - In Support of Armed Forces

Come celebrate the amazing history and development of aviation, honor the patriotic service of our couragous veterans, and praise the outstanding contributions of our early aviation pioneers by attending "Skymavs Aviation Day - in support of Armed Forces" Event at Skymavs Flight Center located in the Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas on May 19th 2007 from 10:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M.

The Airplane is a courageous symbol of the incredible progress in humanity and what the human mind can achieve, the sacrifices that our early aviation pioneers have made, and also reminds us of the miraculous journey it took to bring us this place in history. Skymavs Aviation Day strives to educate people from all walks of life on the dynamics of flying such as planning, navigation, weather forecasting, time, speed, weight, balance computations and clear communications; and at the same time enlightens the public on the benefits of flying and becoming a licensed pilot. Skymavs Aviation Day will inspire the youth of today to believe in the beauty of their dreams and promote success building skills such as leadership, goal-setting, mathematics, science and technology, discipline, and encourage our youth to believe in their unlimited potential. Flight enthusiasts will enjoy a full day viewing military and aviation exhibits, flight demonstrations and speeches made by leaders in the aviation industry. Kids and adults can sample delicious food from some of our popular local restaurants and enjoy activities such as climbing wall, karaoke, photo-op booth, island dancers representing skymavs travel, flight simulators and thrill seekers can even enjoy a $20.00 airplane ride!!!
